Hospitality startup Apaleo extends Series A funding round to €9m

Hospitality platform Apaleo has announced a growth equity round, bringing its Series A funding to €9 million with the new capital to be used to fund product development.

Launched in 2017, the platform allows accommodation providers to create digital experiences for guests and employees using apps from the Apaleo store while at the same time, increasing the efficiency of different areas of hotel operations.

Leading the round were investors Rockaway Ventures and Serpentine Ventures, with returning investors including Redalpine and Force Over Mass Capital.

Apaleo says the new funding will go towards further developing the platform for hotel & serviced apartment chains as well as accelerating expansion throughout Europe.

Hotel groups and hospitality business already using the platform include Mollie’s by Soho House, mk hotels, Zetter Hotels & co, SV Group and Lindemann Hotels.
