Expanding Trademark Collection and Vienna House by Wyndham: Elevating Hospitality in EMEA

As the President of EMEA at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, I am thrilled to share our exciting developments as we continue to expand our footprint across Europe and the EMEA region. With a portfolio boasting around 9,200 hotels in over 95 countries, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts stands as the world's largest hotel franchise company, committed to delivering exceptional experiences to travelers and serving our owners community worldwide.

One of our key initiatives revolves around the expansion of the Trademark Collection by Wyndham, a brand that epitomizes individuality and comfort in the midscale to upscale category. Designed for independent hoteliers and owners seeking to capitalize on the advantages of the Wyndham franchise model, the Trademark Collection offers a strong sales platform, technical expertise and the benefits of the "Wyndham Rewards" bonus program all under the Wyndham Advantage umbrella.

Since its inception in 2017, the Trademark Collection has experienced remarkable growth, now comprising over 220 hotels globally, with more than 34,000 rooms. In the EMEA region alone, we currently operate 96 hotels with 14,527 rooms, a testament to our commitment to providing diverse and unique experiences to travelers and asset oweners across the continent.

Germany, Austria, and Switzerland stand out as our primary markets within the EMEA region, housing a significant portion of our Trademark Collection properties. Very recent notable additions include the H+ Hotel Frankfurt Eschborn, H2 Hotel Mainz, and Aspire Elements Reutlingen, which opened its doors late last year, further enriching our portfolio with their distinct offerings.

Looking forward, we are excited to announce the upcoming openings of several iconic properties, including the Aspire Palais Recklinghausen in Germany and the H2 Hotel Vienna Schönbrunn in Austria, both scheduled to debut in 2024. Additionally, our collaboration with H-Hotels will mark our foray into the French market with the H4 Wyndham Paris Pleyel, a prestigious project set against the backdrop of the vibrant French capital.

Also in 2024, we are proud to unveil a range of new Trademark Collection hotels, each offering its own unique charm and character. These include the Broadfield Park Hotel in Rochdale, England; Askaneli in Kvareli, Georgia; Gino Wellness Mtskheta in Mtskheta, Georgia; Gino Wellness Rabath in Akhaltsikhe, Georgia; Boreas Hotel in Ankara, Turkey; The Earth Amritsar in Amritsar, India; and Morickap Lord's 83 in Wayanad, India.

In parallel, our recent acquisition of the Vienna House brand underscores our commitment to enhancing our presence in Europe. With around 40 hotels currently under the Vienna House by Wyndham banner, including 28 properties in Germany, we are poised to expand further into key markets such as the UK, Turkey, and the CIS countries (excluding Russia). Notable additions to our portfolio include the Vienna House Easy by Wyndham Berlin Potsdamer Platz , which opened its doors in December, showcasing a unique blend of contemporary design and authentic Austrian hospitality.

At Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, sustainability and community engagement lie at the heart of everything we do. From implementing eco-friendly practices to supporting local initiatives, we strive to make a positive impact in every community we serve, ensuring a brighter and more sustainable future for generations to come.

In conclusion, I am immensely proud of the strides we've made in redefining hospitality excellence within the EMEA region. With the Trademark Collection and Vienna House brands leading the way, we are poised to continue shaping the future of travel, one remarkable experience at a time.
