Hilton’s Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts brand has opened the Waldorf Astoria Kuwait in Kuwait City.
Waldorf Astoria Kuwait has 200 guestrooms and suites. Public spaces include several restaurants (including Ava, the signature restaurant, and Roka, slated to open in the autumn), the Oxio pool and lounge, a 13,560-square-foot spa, a fitness center and a Grand Ballroom that can accommodate up to 720 guests (as well as five meeting rooms, all with natural light).
The hotel is connected to The Avenues—the country’s largest retail, entertainment and lifestyle zone—and 11 kilometres from Kuwait International Airport, and close to the Kuwait Opera House, Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre and the Grand Mosque.
Waldorf Astoria Kuwait is owned by real estate developer Mabanee and joins two Hilton properties currently operating in Kuwait, Hilton Kuwait Resort and Hilton Garden Inn Kuwait.
