Surya Hotels has acquired Theobalds Park Estate in Hertfordshire for £12.5 million.
Located 1.6 miles from Junction 25 of the M25 and 15 miles north of Central London, the hotel is set over 55 acres comprises 140 bedrooms, two restaurants, a bar as well as meeting and events facilities
Theobalds Park has undergone significant investment in recent years, with over £8 million in capital expenditure since 2020. Following the acquisition, Surya plans refurbish the hotel under its own branding.
Theobalds has previously operated under hotel brands including DeVere and Birch.
Knight Frank was appointed as the sole selling agent by the joint fixed charge receivers and joint administrators for Theobalds Park Estate last year.
