Investor Hotelatelier has pulled the sale of one of the largest portfolios of hotels in Spain because of excellent performance of the assets over the course of a bumper summer for tourism, according to Spanish newspaper Cinco Dias.
The portfolio is made up of 35 hotels under the Petit Palace (28 of them) and Icon (7) brands. Hotelatelier is owned by European investor Kartesia as well as a number of family offices.
The newspaper also said that a further reason for the sales stoppage was because none of the offers for the assets had reached their valuation.
