Pitch Perfect winner interview: Building a new destination in Northern Greece

This year’s Pitch Perfect competition at IHIF EMEA was fiercely contested with three exciting projects facing off in front of our panel of judges.

After some tough deliberations Kourtidis Group was declared the winner for the Alexandrou Chora in Greece.

The fully integrated project in Paralia Ofryniou will combine luxury hospitality, tourist residences, and modern cultural infrastructure. At the heart of the development will be “The Great Resort”, an ultra-luxury hotel complex spanning 50,000 square metres. Construction is already underway, with completion expected by the end of 2027.

The Resort will feature 75 rooms and 157 beds, designed to deliver a complete high-end hospitality experience. Spa facilities, wellness and relaxation areas, a fine-dining restaurant, and a Beach Club will create a new destination that redefines luxury in Northern Greece.

At IHIF we caught up with winner Karl Chehab, chief operating officer at Kourtidis Group to find out more about the project.

Also congratulations to our two other finalists: Grupo Pinero for The Bahia Principe Grand Costa Adeje in Tenerife, Spain and Montingegnoli for the Tenuta Montingegnoli in Italy
