Marriott inks deal with Grandi Immobili for Ritz-Carlton in Italy

Marriott International has signed an agreement with Grandi Immobili Italiani to open a new Ritz-Carlton hotel in Lake Como, Italy.

Marriott says the former Hotel Grande Bretagne will be refurbished significantly, with the finished waterfront property to provide 59 guestrooms, 46 suites as well as a spa, fine dining restaurants, event facilities, a large outdoor swimming pool and a private boat dock. 

The new hotel is scheduled to open in 2026.
