Dublin hotel brought to market for €17.5m

The Dawson Hotel in Dublin has been brought to market for offers from €17.5 million.

For the new buyer there is potential to refurbish the 36 bedrooms (currently closed) to provide an upper upscale or luxury offering with high-end food and beverage outlets.

Food and beverage facilities of approximately 972 sqm are situated on the ground floor with two separate outlets. The Dawson was previously home to “La Stampa” restaurant and Sam’s bar.

The hotel is positioned close to Dublin’s main business, shopping, and tourist areas which include St. Stephens Green, Grafton Street, Trinity College, Christchurch and Guinness Storehouse.

Global real estate advisor, CBRE, has been exclusively appointed to bring the asset to market.

What they said

Alexandra Sheeran, associate director, CBRE Ireland, said: “The sale of The Dawson Hotel offers both Irish and International investors an exclusive and high-profile property on one of Dublin’s trendiest and most vibrant streets. The asset is unbranded, providing operational flexibility for parties. There is also scope to almost double the existing room count, subject to securing planning permission.”
