IHG expands in Southern Europe

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed 13 hotels and opened a further two more as it continues to expand in the Southern Europe region.

The new projects include:

  • Spain: Holiday Inn Express Bilbao Sestao,
  • Portugal: Holiday Inn Express Porto – Boavista
  • France: Holiday Inn Express Marne-la-Vallée Val D ‘Europe
  • Cyprus: Holiday Inn Express Larnaca
  • Bulgaria: Holiday Inn Express Sofia Airport
  • Serbia: Holiday Inn Express Subotica
  • Georgia: Holiday Inn Express Tbilisi Avlabari

Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express account for over 50% of IHG’s total estate in Europe with 544 open hotels, and a further total of 73 properties in the development pipeline. The
