IHG Hotels and Resorts have added nine hotel properties to its UK portfolio.
The properties span five of the hospitality company’s brands across its four collections: Luxury & Lifestyle Collection brand, Hotel Indigo; Premium Collection brand, voco hotels; Essentials Collection brands Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express; and Staybridge Suites, in its Suites Collection.
In its Luxury & Lifestyle collection, IHG has opened 104-room Hotel Indigo Exeter, with 255-room Hotel Indigo London – K West Shepherd’s Bush expected to open in 2026.
By the end of spring 2023, IHG’s Premium collection will include voco Lythe Hill Hotel in Surrey which has been developed with owners Nq2 Hotels.
In the Essentials collection, IHG has added 73-key Holiday Inn Manchester Oldham, 120-room Holiday Inn Sunderland, 280-room Holiday Inn Manchester Airport, 76-room Holiday Inn Express Fleet and 106-room Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax, which has been developed with owner group Kennford Hotel and is set to open by the end of 2026.
In IHG’s Suites collection, it has added Staybridge Suites Brighton, a 101-room hotel which opened in February with new owner partner Madison Cairn.
IHG currently has 348 open properties and 18 pipeline properties in the UK.
