Santander leases former bank building for hotel conversion

Santander is to lease the former headquarters of Banco Popular in Seville for conversion into a luxury hotel.

According to Cinco Dias, operator Serras Collection will take over the building.

Santander acquired the building as part of its acquisition of Banco Popular back in 2017. The property will now be conversted from office space into a 43-room hotel with a restaurant and terrace space on the top floor, the newspaper reported.
