Aimbridge Hospitality inks management deal with Borealis for Netherlands Holiday Inn

Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA has signed a management agreement with Borealis Hotel Group to operate the new Holiday Inn Eindhoven Airport hotel in the Netherlands.

The 180-room Holiday Inn - which is Borealis’ 25th hotel - is the latest to join Aimbridge EMEA’s portfolio and marks its sixth managed property in the Netherlands. In addition to the rooms, the hotel has 75 sqm of meeting space across three rooms, a restaurant, bar and gym.

The signing comes just weeks after Aimbridge EMEA announced the expansion of its development team in the Iberian Peninsula as part of its plans for growth across Europe.

What they said

David Anderson, Aimbridge EMEA’s divisional president, said: “This new agreement bolsters our already strong working relationship with Borealis Hotel Group, and we’re excited to welcome the Holiday Inn Eindhoven Airport Hotel to our portfolio.

The Netherlands is a region of strong potential growth for us. We have had a presence in the country for a few years, and this latest signing strengthens our position as a leading management company there.”

Lodewijk van der Meulen, co-founder of Borealis added: “We are excited to be working with our partners at Aimbridge EMEA to open the Holiday Inn Eindhoven Airport this spring. The hotel asserts our growth strategy further and we’re confident this new hotel will prove popular with both business and leisure customers.”
