TUI enters Cambodia with 189-room hotel

TUI Hotels & Resorts has furthered its Asian expansion plans with the addition of its first hotel in Cambodia.

Located along the coastline of the Gulf of Thailand, TUI Blue Sihanoukville comprises 189 rooms, a gym and an outdoor swimming pool.

This comes as TUI launches the TUI Suneo brand in China with the addition of 215-room TUI Suneo Shenzhen Manwan which is located in the Dapeng Bay New District of Shenzhen.

Why it matters

TUI’s entry into Cambodia and its expansion in China signal a growing demand for hospitality in emerging markets across Asia. The tourism group has continued to pursue expansion on the continent - its portfolio in Asia currently comprises 22 resorts, with 26 others in the pipeline in destinations including Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, the Maldives, China as well as Cambodia which is a relatively untapped market that could present significant opportunities for investors.

Our expertise in the leisure hotel industry offers great added value not only to guests from Europe but also from Asia.
