Maya Hotels buys Courtyard by Marriott in North Carolina for $10.2m

Maya Hotels has acquired the Courtyard Charlotte Gastonia for $10.2 million.

Located at 1856 Remount Road in North Carolina, the 130-room hotel comprises a pool, fitness centre, restaurant and a 24/7 marketplace with snacks and beverages. It also features over 2,800 square feet of flexible meeting space.

Maya plans to commence a multi-million-dollar renovation of the property during the fourth quarter of 2025.

Following the acquisition, Maya Hotels owns three hotels in Gaston County, taking its portfolio to eleven hotels across Carolina including two Candlewood Suites, two Hampton Inn hotel and two Holiday Inn Express & Suites properties.
